was successfully held !

The 7th International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications (ICCEA 2026) was successfully held in Chongqing from May 16 to 17, 2026. Hosted by Southwest University and organized by its College of Computer and Information Science and Software Engineering, the conference was co-organized by Chongqing University, Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xiamen University, and IKAS Holdings (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

The event brought together nearly 300 distinguished experts and scholars in Chongqing. It featured eight high-quality keynote speeches, multiple oral presentation sessions, and a poster exhibition, offering diverse formats for academic exchange. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies, innovative achievements, and future trends in computer engineering and applications, actively promoting the deep integration of academic research and industrial practice.

Opening Ceremony

On the morning of May 17, Prof. Xin Luo, IEEE Fellow, National High-Level Talent, Dean of college of computer and information science, Southwest University delivered the opening address. He extended a warm welcome to all attendees and introduced the college’s achievements and future vision in advancing international academic exchange. These efforts include building high-level international platforms, deepening cross-border research collaborations, and facilitating young scholar exchanges. Prof. Luo reiterated the college’s commitment to expanding its global cooperation network, enhancing the international influence of its disciplines, and fostering openness, sharing, and innovation in computer engineering and applications.

The conference sessions were moderated by Prof. Yan Qiao (IKAS Holdings (Beijing) Co., Ltd.), Prof. Di Wu (Southwest University), Prof. Weiling Li (Dongguan University of Technology), Assoc. Prof. Ye Yuan (Southwest University), Assoc. Prof. Hao Wu (Southwest University), and Dr. Dexian Wang (Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine).

Conference Chairs

Keynote Speeches

The keynote sessions brought together eight leading experts from renowned universities and enterprises worldwide. Their presentations covered a wide range of frontier topics, including cloud-native architectures, machine learning, large model personalization, semiconductor manufacturing scheduling, intelligent electromagnetic spectrum recognition, 6G intelligent channel mapping, and deformable object manipulation. Each talk offered both theoretical depth and practical engineering value, delivered in an accessible yet insightful manner. Oral and Poster Sessions

The conference also featured dedicated oral presentation and poster display sessions. Young researchers from Chongqing University, Southwest University, Macau University of Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) actively shared their research findings. These sessions fostered stimulating intellectual exchanges and significantly advanced the integration of academic theory with industrial practice.

Awards Ceremony

A highlight of the conference was the awards ceremony honoring outstanding contributions. Following rigorous evaluation by an expert committee, Prof. Jianwei Liao, Associate Dean of the College of Computer and Information Science and Software Engineering at Southwest University, presented awards on-site for Best Paper Awards, Best Student Paper Awards, Best Oral Presentation Awards, and Best Poster Awards. This recognition not only celebrated the remarkable achievements of young scholars in their respective fields but also underscored the conference’s strong commitment to nurturing emerging talent. It aims to inspire new generations of researchers to explore boldly, innovate fearlessly, and inject sustained energy and vitality into the sustainable development of the field.
